This product is made from the saline at the bottom of the unpolluted Qinghai plateau. Its large transparent crystals are commonly known as "Glass Salt" or "Crystal Salt", and it can be used for making optical instruments. It is regarded as an important medicinal material in traditional Chinese medicine and Mongolian-Tibetan medicine as well. It can also be made into porcelain wares. |

These products are made with saline from the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, over 3000m above sea level, which was formed through natural conditions.
The crystals, which are produced through a special manufacturing technique, are glittering and translucent.According to research carried out by the Environmental Research Center of the China Academy of Science, in addition to sodium chloride and iodine, there are also more than ten kinds of microelements in these products which are beneficial to the health of the human body. These are valuable characteristics for edible salts. These products were certified as environmentally friendly food by the Center of Chinese Environmentally-Friendly Development in 2001.

1) Granularity index is produced in the range of 0.15-3.5 mm according to the requests of customers.
2) For those regions with high iodine where it is not desirable for there to be high iodine content in the salt, the iodine content in the Tibet-Qinghai salt provided will not exceed about 5 mg/kg.
